It could be a challenge for the company to overcome it's competitors due to this lag.

The Device got A 1.2 GHz Mediatek Quad core processor . Which is really fast to be used.
You can enjoy tremendous Gaming without worry of get hanged. The usage of multi core processor will ensure that your battery will not be drained too soon.
4. OPERATING SYSTEM :
Canvas doodle 2 got the latest Android 4.2 jelly Bean OS.After the update of Google the project butter on all the Jelly Bean based phones , the OS has been very much faster and smoother in terms of performance as the project's name suggests.
