If you are new to Twitter or if you want to improve your presence on this social media site then there are some tips that you need to know.  Social media is very popular right now but not everyone is up to date on what is and is not appropriate on a social network site.  Everyone should have a bit of knowledge about the social media site they are on before they make too many mistakes or before they start losing followers.  Below are some tips to make your Twitter experience much better and to keep you from making too many mistakes.

Even if you’re not promoting yourself for new followers, the friends of people who follow you may also join your Twitter feed by following you.  Make sure you give them the same courtesy and follow them back.  If you find that you really don’t have anything in common or that you don’t really like the person, you can always unfollow them, if they haven’t done it first, so you don’t have to see their tweets anymore.  For the most part you won’t do a great deal of unfollowing unless someone really gets under your skin.  Unless you’re on Twitter constantly, you’ll probably rarely see many of the tweets on your feed. You really need to have your Twitter connected to your Facebook and Instagram accounts.  You can make one post from Twitter and your Facebook friends can see it or you can post a photo from Instagram and you’ll automatically post a link to the photo on Twitter.  This saves so much time for a busy person.  Not everyone can blast out social media posts every ten or fifteen minutes so make the most of each tweet by getting them on other social networking sites.
